Finally install Siri on iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G without Proxy [Video Tutorial]

Me too. I got hung up in apple logo.

i install siriport reboot and phone gets hung up in apple logo reboot any ideas?????

@luis sanders, don't talk as if you're and expert because you're obviously not, its NOT "that" simple, you're right that apple has to recognize device as 4s but this doesn't connect you to apple, goes to a proxy which then goes to apple. And if you knew anything about identifying iPhones you'd know by the number of black lines in the frame of the phone. It may not work for you which I understand because I had to do my phone few times and my mom's 2ice. And even then it didn't activate until the next afternoon. It definately doesn't activate as if it comes with phone out the box BECAUSE IT DIDN'T. But play around with it. It'll work.

This does not work. It is simple if the phone is not recognized by apple there will be not activation. The phone shown on this is an iPhone 4 s not a iPhone as claim . This is lie

It works!!! just have to try a few times... worked for me right away first time, then i had to restore my phone and it didn't work for a while... then i tried again the other night (completely took it off for a few days and started all over) worked right away, first time I said "hi siri"... feel free to email me or comment and i will TRY to help you. may take a day or so to get back to you, please have patience, its' NOT my port I have nothing to do with the development or anything like that. Just someone with a lot of experience jail breaking and things like that and don't mind trying to help.

I got the certificate and siriport but in settings in general there is no option as siri

does this install dictation also!!!!please help

won't work on ipod 4g, sticks on apple or pineapple screen and requires restoring!

I've gotten siri activated on 4 devices, my Ipod touch 4g as well as three of my friends and in all cases the "hammer" method worked! you just keep hitting the mic for 5-10 minutes non stop. then immediately ask a long question, i asked how much wood could a woodchuck...etc. Amazingly she responds. it took up to three "hammer" attempts with about a min break in between on two of the devices, but worked every time. Good luck guys !

Is there any rhyme or reason to the first-time activation and the whole "Hi Siri" thing? This seems like the most frustrating step for everyone (and myself!). Would posting the details for successful activations maybe show some sort of pattern? If not, sorry for the dumb idea but some of us are pretty desperate! This is what I know about my friend's successful activation:Downloaded and installed on 02-24 around 1930 Central Time

Attempted activation multiple times, removed, installed again, rebooted multiple times

Attempted activation saying "Hi Siri" probably near 50 timesGave up

While awake, every 5-6 hours spent 15 minutes attempting to activate saying "Hi Siri" on 3G and variety of wireless networks

02-26 about 0200 Central Time activation succeeded on 3G, after about 10 "Hi Siri" attempts

Worked for days on my ipad2 and iPhone 4 then after server went down at the begging of the week both have stopped
Working. I have new keys just wont activate. Have asked siriport.ru for help but they just say wait.
It's been 4 days now come on how long do u wait"????????

sorry but it tells me that the certifcate is not trusted...

I knew i had to restore my iPhone so i went ahead and tried in case it messed anything up... it took a while (i went to sleep) before it activated but was then working.. i restored my phone as needed and now it's not activating again.. am I now assed out??

It won't even let me talk! it just beeps, listens for a few seconds then after that, i cant talk at all

Everything went fine until activation it just does no want to be activated what can I do.

what if i accidentaly un installed certificate after it was working? is there a way i can bring it all back if i redownload the certificate?
